SAFE2TELL WYOMING 2023 VIDEO CONTEST

Cheyenne, WY — On February 13, 2023, Safe2Tell Wyoming announced they will be holding their 2023 student video contest. The video contest is once again designed to create awareness among students about the various safety concerns Wyoming students can report to the Safe2Tell Wyoming tip line. The contest is open to Wyoming students in 9th through 12th grade. The deadline for submission is Monday April 27, 2023.

The winning team will be awarded $300.00. In addition, the school of the winning team will also receive $200.00. The contest prize money is made possible through funding that is provided by the Wyoming Department of Health’s Mental Health and Substance Abuse Division.

“Students know the personal struggles and challenges they face in school everyday. This video contest provides a way for them to speak to these issues and contribute their ideas toward a solution." Bill Morse, Safe2Tell Wyoming Program Manager.

About Safe2Tell Wyoming: Safe2Tell Wyoming is a 24/7 statewide tip line that allows Wyoming students and community members to report school safety concerns confidentially. The program was established in October 2016 and has received over 8000 tips that include, but are not limited to, planned school attacks, self-harm, suicide threats and bullying.
